Tip 7: If an error occurs how fast can they put it right?
If any company tells you that nothing ever goes wrong with their production steer clear as life is never that simple. Remember a measure of a company is not whether they make mistakes or not but how they deal with them.
Even with our strict loading and transport procedures we occasionally have a breakage. As we are dealing with a natural product minor imperfections in a slab can be completely undetectable.
Often we hear from customers who complain that they have bought their granite from a company who measured incorrectly or that have claimed there was damage during transport and the poor customer has been left without any worktops for weeks. This mainly occurs when they are either processing the granite abroad hence the long lead time or when they are using contract staff who do not share the same level of responsibility as an employee and therefore do not care about the customer.
All our worktops, upstands and splashbacks are manufactured right here in the UK so if there is any issue at all we can usually respond and act within hours. If it is a particularly large section that is damaged this can take up to 48 hours but we keep you informed all the way through.
In our experience customers will accept that accidents do happen and only get upset if there are delays and they are not kept informed.
