All of the above quartz worktops are manufactured by our partners Cimstone. Cimstone employs the very latest Breton machines to manufacture the quartz worktops. Quartz worktops made on Breton machines are simply the best quality anywhere in the world today, Breton is synonymous with quality. To manufacture quartz worktops, the rubble from granite quarries are collected and ground down into a fine powder. It is then mixed with the Breton resin and vacuum pressed to produce a strong and densely packed slab. The resin is only available to Breton customers and it makes the quartz worktops practically non porous and very scratch resistant. Although many quartz worktops may look similar if it is not made using Breton technology the chances are it will stain, discolour from natural sunlight and most importantly will not be as strong.
Cimstone quartz worktops are available in all of the above colours and there are four more solid colours coming soon, they are pure black, pure white, pure brown and pure cream. The slab size of our quartz worktops are 305cm by 140cm and are available in both 2cm and 3cm.
If you would like to see the machinery we use at our partners manufacturing factory please ask and we will be only to happy to provide you with a video CD of how our quartz worktops are manufactured.
